By registering as a vendor and listing items on our platform, you agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined in this Vendor Agreement (the "Agreement"). This agreement is a binding legal contract between you (the "Vendor") and The Wig Wrangler Marketplace (the "Marketplace Admin").

SECTION 1: SYSTEM HOSTING & INDEMNIFICATION OF

OPERATIONAL LIABILITIES

The Wig Wrangler Marketplace platform is proudly hosted and maintained by Twisted Wig. The Vendor explicitly acknowledges and agrees that the Marketplace operates strictly as an intermediary facilitator for direct, independent peer-to-peer commerce.

Any independent business interactions, historical transaction backlogs, external order fulfillment processing, promo codes, or consumer financial accounting liabilities generated by or under the direct name of Twisted Wig are entirely separate from this peer-to-peer marketplace database.

Individual Vendors shall bear absolutely no operational, financial, or fulfillment responsibility for any separate, current, or prior store accounts, credits, or inquiries associated with Twisted Wig.

Vendors are completely indemnified from any third-party buyer claims originating outside of the Vendor's own discrete transaction records on this Marketplace.

SECTION 2: THE BENEFIT OF A SEMI-MODERATED MARKETPLACE

Unlike unmoderated public auction platforms or social media groups, The Wig Wrangler Marketplace operates as a semi-moderated ecosystem. We believe this approach offers a premium experience for high-quality sellers:

• Higher Conversion Rates: Buyers shop with confidence knowing that an active administrator oversees the catalog, filters out spam, and acts as an objective escrow moderator.

• Protection from Fraudulent Claims: Our moderation structure actively safeguards ethical vendors against unfair buyer exploitation and bad-faith transaction claims.

• Streamlined Formats: We provide standardized listing flows, payout logic, and verification checkpoints to ensure your gently-loved pieces are accurately represented to motivated shoppers.

SECTION 3: VENDOR LISTING & CONDITION TRANSPARENCY

To minimize discrepancies, reduce transaction disputes, and maintain buyer confidence, all Vendors must adhere to strict transparency standards:

1. Accurate Item Mappings: Every listing must populate the compulsory cap size, cap construction (e.g., lace front, mono-part, hand-tied), material type (e.g., standard synthetic, heat-friendly synthetic, human hair), style name, color family, and original manufacturer details.

2. Mandatory Disclosures: Vendors must explicitly describe item status and condition metrics in the description layout box. This includes clearly stating the total wear-time, any alterations performed (e.g., trimmed lace, adjusted parts, cut bangs), and flaws (e.g., nape friction, fiber dryness, or styling buildup).

3. Media Verification: Listing graphics must be true, unaltered representations of the exact physical product currently in the Vendor's possession. Using stock photos exclusively without attaching crisp photos of the inside cap and the fiber tips/nape is strictly prohibited.

SECTION 4: TRANSACTION FULFILLMENT & DISPUTE RESOLUTION

1. Escrow Structure: To protect both marketplace counter-parties, checkouts are routed through our secure platform pipeline. Funds are held securely until order tracking indicates completion or the resolution window passes.

2. Dispute Reductions: In the event that a Buyer flags an order with a conflict (e.g., "Item Not Received" or "Significantly Not As Described"), the platform's Admin team will immediately place the payout row on temporary hold.

3. Moderator Intervention: Both the Vendor and Buyer agree to cooperate with the Marketplace Admin's neutral arbitration process. Both parties must submit requested verification criteria (such as carrier shipping manifests, tracking metrics, time-stamped listing criteria, or condition photos) within forty-eight (48) hours of an active alert notification. The Marketplace Admin holds final authority on transaction reversals or splits.

SECTION 5: VENDOR REPUTATION & REVIEWS (THE DISPUTE CLAUSE)

The foundation of a successful P2P marketplace is a reliable vendor rating log. Your Wrangler Status is contingent upon continuous compliance, customer care, and verifiable feedback loops.

1. Transparent Seller Scores: Buyers have the automatic right to submit authentic transaction feedback, star ratings, and textual reviews reflecting their experiences with a Vendor.

2. Accountability Checkpoints: The Marketplace Admin conducts routine, systematic evaluations of seller performance metrics, active dispute frequencies, and feedback channels.

3. Removal for Verifiable Negative Feedback: If a Vendor accumulates a pattern of poor ratings, or if the Marketplace Admin receives verifiable negative feedback or proof of unethical practices—including but not limited to hiding severe fiber damage, failing to ship orders within the carrier deadline, misrepresenting uncut lace parameters, or hostile user messaging—the Marketplace Admin reserves the absolute right to suspend listing privileges or permanently remove the Vendor from the marketplace platform without prior warning.

4. Forfeiture: Vendors removed from the platform due to verified breaches of trust or unresolved transaction fraud waive the right to immediate account reconciliation pending final dispute audits.

SECTION 6: ESCROW PAYOUTS & PLATFORM REVENUE SERVICES

1. Commission Splits: All finalized checkout carts are automatically calculated using the hierarchical marketplace fee system. The defined percentage fee will be deducted directly at checkout.

2. Payout Approvals: Once an order line-item status changes to fulfilled and passes the standard security validation hold window, payouts are securely transferred to the Vendor’s attached payment gateway account.

VENDOR ACKNOWLEDGMENT & SIGN-UP CONFIRMATION

By checking the registration consent box and activating your Merchant Dashboard, you formally execute this Agreement and bind yourself to these Marketplace terms. You certify that you understand that your access to our marketplace ecosystem is entirely reliant upon maintaining an honorable seller reputation score and upholding our core community safety guidelines.
